Castro - Villa

A pretty townhouse renovated in early 2024 in the center of the town of Castro, in a quiet side street between the castle on the hill and the marina.
The owner of the house is an experienced blacksmith from Germany, so quality was a priority. Windows, shutters (with mosquito nets), air conditioning, bathrooms and most of the furniture are completely new, as is the private pool (approx. 7x4m), which is available for your exclusive use.
The house with the bright blue facade consists of an entrance area with guest toilet, a living room, a dining room, a kitchen and two bedrooms: the first bedroom with a double bed, a single bed and an en-suite shower room with washing machine; the second bedroom is divided into two levels: the lower level has a double bed and an en-suite shower room, the gallery level has two single beds (note: the stairs are a bit steep and not suitable for small children). In the living room there is a comfortable double sofa bed.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge with freezer, induction stove, oven and dishwasher; crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils are provided.
Outside, you will find a nicely furnished terrace with a private pool and sun loungers, as well as a roof terrace with a fantastic view over the roofs of Castro, the sea and the coast. There are several partially covered or shaded seating and dining options, an outdoor stove and a grill on the roof terrace. The entire outdoor area is exclusively for you and is not shared with other guests.
Free WiFi is available. Pets are welcome in the house (extra charge see below), except for cats: unfortunately, these are not allowed for allergy reasons.
Within a few minutes' walk you can reach Castro Marina. There are cafes and an ice cream parlor, as well as the opportunity to take a boat tour to the nearby sea caves. Right next to the harbor there are several sea accesses from where you can swim in the crystal clear waters of the southern Adriatic. The old town of Castro with the castle, the piazza and the ancient city walls is also within walking distance. There are also cafes, restaurants and a few grocery stores for your daily needs.
If you are arriving by car, there are free parking spaces not directly in front of the house, but in the immediate vicinity.



🛏️ Sheets, duvets and towels are not included. If you don't want to bring them with you from home, regardless of the length of your stay, you can rent them for €26 per person.
🧽 Final cleaning is not included and costs €140, unless you clean yourselves before departure.
🐶 Dogs and pets are welcome, if you inform us in advance! Surcharge: €150 for the 1st one, €75 each for the others. Usually max 1 large or 2 small ones are allowed, but exceptions might be possible upon request.
💰 We will ask you to pay a security deposit of €600 before arrival. The security deposit will be refunded within 7 days after departure, if there is no damage.
⚡ Electricity costs (and thus where applicable AC, hot water, heating etc.) are NOT included in the price and will be charged based on your actual consumption. The price per kWh charged to guests was €0,35 on 08/01/2026, when this text was last updated. Prices may slightly change over time.

- We are obliged by law to verify the identity of all our guests. We will therefore ask you to upload copies of your IDs on our (secure) website to verify your identity before handing out the key code for the accommodation. Your personal data is treated in full compliance with EU data protection laws.
- Also, we are obliged to sign a rental agreement with our guests (one person per group). This will be done digitally and requires just a few seconds on your side. You can find a template of the rental agreement on our website.
- Parties, gatherings, events or loud music are not allowed at this property unless explicitly authorised beforehand by us in writing.
- In case the local municipality charges a tourist tax, we will ask you to pay this separately to us and we will transfer it to the local authorities as required by law.
- Please note that, like for all houses in Italy, the power allowance of the house is limited and you might not be able to always use all electric appliances simultaneously. No need to worry: most guests don't even notice this limitation.
- Unlimited wifi is included in the price for normal use. Fair use policies might apply. Please note that we cannot guarantee any specific connection speed nor coverage across all rooms in the building. We're happy to provide more details upon request.
